Join the 10th Annual Newton Turkey Trot and Help Support the Newton Food Pantry

This family-friendly, USATF-certified race will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Zervas Elementary School in Waban. The 1K fun run will start at 8:30am and will be followed by the 5K race that will start at 9:00am. If you prefer, you can also run your own race virtually anytime during November 19–26. More than 1,300 people participate each year from our local community and beyond.

The event organizers hope to increase youth awareness about health, wellness and community service. Funds raised will support the Newton Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry and Journey Forward, which is a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries or disabilities.

To join the Newton Food Pantry Volunteer Team, click here, select “Volunteer: Join A Team” and then select “Newton Food Pantry” from the dropdown menu. Volunteers slots are available on Thursday, November 16th, Friday, November 17th and Saturday, November 18th. All race participants registered by October 22nd will receive a race t-shirt.
