TAP/WPS 5K Fun Run

Join us on Sunday, September 22 for the inaugural TAP/WPS Fun Run to benefit the Newton Food Pantry.

The Inaugural TAP/WPS Fun Run is a collaboration between the Newton Food Pantry’s Teen Ambassador Program and the WPS Institute. The goal of this student-organized event is to build and strengthen our community while fundraising to help fight food insecurity.

Join us for a charity 5K run on Sunday, September 22 (11:00 a.m.) across the WPS campus (234 Herrick Road, Newton Center). The registration fee is $25 and is tax deductible. Participants who register by August 30 will be guaranteed a Fun Run T-shirt that you can pickup when you check in on race day. Please arrive between 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to check in and pick up your T-shirt.

All proceeds from the event will support the Newton Food Pantry, our city’s oldest and largest food pantry. The Newton Food Pantry serves more than 900 households and 2,500 Newton residents in need!
