Newton's Community Table

The Newton Food Pantry was thrilled to again host Newton’s Community Table, a special fundraising event to shine a light on food insecurity in our community. More than $150,000 was raised toward our essential hunger-relief services!

Nearly 200 people came together on the Mt. Ida campus in Newton on Thursday, Oct. 23 for great food and drinks, live music, a silent auction, and an inspiring program as we celebrated those working to ensure everyone in Newton has access to fresh, nutritious and culturally relevant foods.

2025 Honorees

We celebrated three amazing Newton Food Pantry supporters:

The City of Newton/Mayor Ruthanne Fuller. The City of Newton has generously provided the Newton Food Pantry with operating space in City Hall for the last 8 years. This has enabled us to provide fresh and nutritious groceries to thousands of residents in need.

Goulston & Storrs in Boston has consistently provided the Newton Food Pantry with top-notch pro bono legal services, helping us plan and grow for the future.

Marilyn Crone is the longtime volunteer leader of the Newton Food Pantry’s Kids’ Bags program, which she continues to guide with boundless energy and care. Through Marilyn’s leadership, we produce and distribute more than 650 healthy snack/breakfast bags each month to clients with children at home.
