Sean joins the Newton Food Pantry as Operations Director, bringing nearly three decades of experience in food systems and a deep commitment to food equity and sustainability. He most recently served as the Senior Director of Operations at Spoonfuls, where he spent seven years working to recover and distribute fresh, healthy food to communities across Massachusetts. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Boston Area Gleaners.

Sean is excited to build upon the Newton Food Pantry’s 40+ year legacy of dedicated service. He looks forward to helping strengthen the organization’s impact, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the pantry growth to meet the evolving needs of the Newton community.

Originally from Western Massachusetts, Sean now lives in Natick with his wife and two children. He has a lifelong appreciation for the intersection of food, community and the environment. When he’s not working, he enjoys cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, as well as spending time outdoors hiking, biking and exploring New England.
