All in-kind food donations and personal care product donations must be unopened and may not be expired.

Please consider donating items on our Most Needed Items or Amazon Wish lists. Donations can be dropped off at the Newton Food Pantry on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 8am to 6pm, and on Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm.

Enter Newton City Hall (1000 Commonwealth Avenue) on the Homer Street side of the building, by our large outdoor sign, and take the elevator downstairs. A bin for donations will be located around the corner, by the entrance to the Newton Food Pantry.

Or, you can purchase products from our Amazon Wish List and have them delivered!

You can also donate food and personal care products to the Newton Community freedge, a 24/7 publicly accessible refrigerator and pantry operated by the Newton Food Pantry. The Newton Community freedge (420 Watertown Street in Nonantum) welcomes donations of perishable and non-perishable items. Please review freedge donation guidelines prior to donating.

And if you are interested in hosting a food drive in support of the Newton Food Pantry, please contact us for more information. Food drives are great community-building activities that help support our neighbors in need throughout Newton!
