We are continually humbled by our volunteers, donors and staff who keep our organization running smoothly every single week of the year. And, to our clients — thank you for sharing your experiences with us and for allowing us to provide support when needed.

As you know, our numbers have gone up along with the rising cost of food and inflation. Since the pandemic began, the number of our client visits and home deliveries has more than tripled to over 10,800 per year. In addition, the number of individuals we serve has nearly doubled. Because of these increases in clients and related costs, our operating budget has more than quadrupled. Over 1,900 Newton residents in need rely on us right now.

Despite all of these increases, we continue to offer our neighbors, between 200 and 250 households every week, nutritious and culturally-relevant food, fresh fruits and vegetables, vital personal care products and cleaning supplies — completely free and always served with dignity, compassion and respect.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping to make 2022 another amazing year at the Newton Food Pantry. We wish you all a healthy and happy 2023 as we continue to work toward the day when no one struggles with food insecurity in our community. Please consider a DONATION to help us continue the work of serving our neighbors in need.
