The impact of this pandemic will be long-lasting. We continue to serve three times as many people as we did 20 months ago. In fact, each month we provide over 4,000 bags of food and personal care items to more than 1,800 residents. And that’s just in our City Hall shopping space.

One of our missions in 2021 was to put our clients first and find innovative ways to meet their needs. In March, we opened the Newton Community freedge — a 24/7 free refrigerator and pantry. In addition, we now operate a self-serve dry food pantry on Lasell University campus for students and staff.

We wish you all a healthy and happy 2022 as we continue the work of serving our neighbors with compassion and dignity.
